The baby green turtles are certified salmonella free. We employ the Siebeling Method to render the hatchlings salmonella free. The process requires that the eggs be sanitized and dip with a solution in a vacuum tank to kill the salmonella bacteria. Once the eggs are hatched, the hatchlings are tested by a Louisiana State approved laboratory. Certificates are issued for all Salmonella free turtles. This certificate along with a Louisiana State Health Certificate is required to distribute the turtles.
