A view of our newly completed processing plant. Here is Dr. Ron Siebeling on one of his trips to our facility to collect specimens for his continuing research. He is the developer of the Siebeling Method of hatching baby green turtles Salmonella free.

In 1995, our new processing facility was completed. It was equipped with new processing tables and tanks for use in washing and packing of the turtle eggs which is done daily during the laying season after the eggs are picked. Non-porous material was used in the building of the equipment to help eliminate development of bacteria in the processing plant.

A pressure differential tank with stainless steel inserts is used to treat the eggs to render them salmonella free.
